The printer is on a network, and people sign in the computers.
Tinkering with the menu button, I saw some stuff about ';Print Quality'; with the options being ';Standard'; vs ';Smooth;'; along with other options such as background, color, line voltage.
Can we do something to save ink by tweaking the properties on the printer itself?

I suggest getting a job. Printer ink is and always will be expensive.
