Does any one know which ink refill kits work best with lexmark printer cartidges?

Hi,

I personally like the ones available from http://www.worldclassinks.com However, if you have never refilled a cartridge I would like to state that it is by far cleaner, easier, and many times better to buy a cartridge that they have already remanufactured. When you get a new printer you get what is called a teaser cartridge. Maybe 50% full if you are lucky. Their remanufactured ones are 100% full. Refilling is a pain and very messy. If you must do this, it is best to lightly soak the bottom of the cartridge in acetate (common finger nail polish remover) for a while to remove the old ink and paper dust build up in the jets first! Be careful as this will ruin most any table or other surface you get it on. Then blot it dry on a Scott brand or other lint free absorbent material to absorb the remaining acetate. When refilling, fill it as full as you can, then wait 10 minutes and fill it again, so the ink can absorb into the felt like material in the cartridge, or you will be disappointed in the low levels of ink you spent so much time putting in. A good rule of thumb is to do it twice to get the most capacity the cartridge can hold. When you are done, do not leave that little hole open in the top that you used to put the ink in, this will only cause it to dry out again that much faster. Hope this helps
