Well when i got Windows Vista I had to get new drivers from the web to make my printer compatible.

If you have new ink it should work ok - try cleaning.

Also make sure you have not been sold cartrige low on ink.

Try taking them out and putting them all back in. Becareful though don't want it to get messy.

Have you chosen correct paper choice on menue. Is the paper double sided printing.

Sounds to me though, you are out of black ink.How to fix: my printer prints faded ink?
Sounds like your cartridge is out of ink. You are using a colour cartridge which only has 3 colours, cyan, yellow and magenta (blue), to make the black for printing you need blue ink and a touch of cyan=black (very dark brown). So buy a new cartridge. Failing that your print heads are blocked, so try cleaning them. If it is printing words you can read, that means the printer is working, but colour is the problem so ink is either empty or the heads need cleaning.
lol i had the same problem last week , use the program that came with your printer .. vista problems
