I am using an Epson printer, printing on to pearlised card the ink keeps smudging. What can i do to stop this?

Try changing your paper selection to a transparency. What is happening is the ink is pooling up on the top of the paper and not soaking in. When you tell the printer you are using a paper that is not as absorbent (such as a plastic transparency) it only sprays a small amount of ink onto the surface, meaning it will dry faster and not pool up and smear.

I've done this myself and it works great.I am using an Epson printer, printing on to pearlised card the ink keeps smudging. What can i do to stop this?
Give the ink a chance to dry first.I am using an Epson printer, printing on to pearlised card the ink keeps smudging. What can i do to stop this?
My only advice is to make sure and print only one sheet at a time, and then when it's done printing, carefully lay the sheet to the side till the ink has completely dried. However, if the print head is smudging the ink, you're pretty much out of luck.
in the configuration menu I suggest you change the amount of ink it places on your paper to less.....it varies from printer software to printer software.....some class as quality some don't...anyway less ink on the card will allow it to dry quiker...and give it time b4 you go moving it as the card will still have ink on it that isn't dried.....
