If anything the copies would probably use slightly more ink because they're likely to copy bits of dust and such. You're using the same ink supply for both, so always print: much better quality results.If I have a multi-function printer, would copying papers be more ink-efficient than printing multiple copies?
It takes the same amount of ink to copy as it does to print but I find the quality of print is more precise so I print whenever possible.
