When a printer spits out all its ink and basically blows up, is it time for a new one? Or can it be fixed?

it can be corrected but it depends on the condition of the printerWhen a printer spits out all its ink and basically blows up, is it time for a new one? Or can it be fixed?
Hallow Dear,

You didn’t mention what is your Printer type exactly....

When we seen in this hand basically 2 kinds of printers....

1) Printing Head on The Printer Cartridge..

When This kind a Printers, if you have a problem as you say.. You can replace the cartridge %26amp; that will work exactly. (If there is no any damaged in printer data ribbon)

2) Printing Head is fixed up to the printer (if Cartridge is only an ink pack)

When this kind a Printers, if you have a problem as you say, you have to replace the printer head. And make sure the data ribbon of your printer is not damaged and all the sensors are doing they own work properly.

And there is another side you should check...is,

a.) check your printer cartridge’s vacuum seals are not bracken.

b.) check your printer’s head cleaning unit is working %26amp; Make sure it is cleaning your Printer heads properly.

C.) Some printers they have small box or some sponges inside for collect the Overflowing ink. Clean Them %26amp; “Cleaning Heads” Also Properly.

If its a inkjet printer replace the cartridges.
sounds like its time for a new one!
Toss it. If it's an inkjet -- toss it even faster. Almost any printer that you'll buy will be cheaper just to buy a newer faster model then what repair costs may be.
put it in the trash and buy new printer.

Cost too much to fix
Call up the printer company you got it from.

Have you been re-filling the ink cartridges ? Sounds like you blew out a print head. What that means is the printer is fine, but messy and the cartridge is bad.
it's definitely just a hang-over or too much drink.. did you get your printer drunk last night? a coffee will help it...
try replacing the ink cartriges and tweaking the printing settings to use less ink ect if this still happens your printer is probably dead if its still under warrenty send it back to get repaired if not go to newegg.com and get a new printer
I would say it is time for a different one. I wouldn't replace it with a new one of the same model or brand. If it is still under warranty, you could consider sending it for inspection although personally, I would dump the printer or exchange it if it acts up after the second year.
Never seen that happen but I bet you should contact where you got it from.
printers are cheap now so just bye a new one and trash the old one.
