No ink comes out of my canon printer. replaced the ink cartridge with a new one but no ink comes out still.?

you might also try a deep clean (via the printer software). also, double check and make sure you took the tape off the cartridge :)No ink comes out of my canon printer. replaced the ink cartridge with a new one but no ink comes out still.?
Your ink nozzles are probably clogged with dried ink.

If you've tried several deep cleaning cycles, and don't be afraid to run 2 or 3 in a row between printing test pages, then you may need to clean the print head manually.

If the cartridge carriage has a light grey lever above it, flip up the lever, take out the cartridges and try to remove the carriage. If it's removeable, it should pop out quite easily, if not, it's going to be difficult to fix yourself.

If you can get it out easily, go to Inkjet Oasis and read the help page for instructions on how to clean it.

If it's more than you're prepared to tackle, take it to an authorized repair shop and they'll do it for you. It shouldn't cost around $45.00 to have it done.No ink comes out of my canon printer. replaced the ink cartridge with a new one but no ink comes out still.?
i would think that if this is still under warrenty dont play with it and take it back to where u got it.
If this is a well used printer the jets are probably clogged, use a cotton swap with a little rubbing alcohol to clean them.
