There are many variables here - what color font are you trying to print? How long have you not been able to get something to print on the page? Have you tried a new cartridge just to be safe? Have you turned off the printer and computer and restarted them both?
Try printing from different applications (if you're using Word, try Text Editor or Notepad). Make sure you have the latest drivers for your printer installed. If you're printing in color, try just printing black (or vice versa). Your printer and computer are obviously communicating, so perhaps the software (drivers). ink (I know you said there's ink, but sometimes it seems like there is when there isn't), or the specific program you're using is the problem.
All of that said, I have experienced this problem with a series of Epson printers and it is largely irreparable. If you can clean the ink ';jets'; (the little holes in the cartridge where the ink comes out and also where it goes in to the printer) and make sure they aren't clogged (you can use a Q-Tip and alcohol) and it still doesn't print, the next step (if it is an Epson) would be to make sure you are using Epson cartridges and not generics. If you are using new, Epson cartridges and still doesn't work in any application with any color, you can call Epson, but in my experience, it could be toast. My printer goes through the printing process, but the page comes out blank. It has ink. What is the problem?
Well. ask a computer technician. such as go online and type in computer help and you will call the number and they will know the answer to that questions.
