How to check printer HP 1022n ink?

HP Laserjet 1022n printer tonner cartridge lasts for 2000 Pages (approximately).


There is no way to check the level of the toner in the printer. But the only work around is to check the Number of pages that thas been printed off the printer (ie., the Page Count).





Steps to check the Page count:


1) Click Start %26gt;%26gt;%26gt; Control Panel %26gt;%26gt;%26gt; Printers and other Hardware %26gt;%26gt;%26gt; Printers and Faxes


2) You would see HP LaserJet 1022 icon there, right click on it and click on PRINTING PREFERENCES


3) In the Printing Perferences window click on ';Basics'; tab, there at the bottom you will find page count.





(Note: As per HP the page count gets resetted when the Toner is replaced with another New Toner)
