Today my LEXMARK Z22 printer just died on me. It was a great little printer, so reliable and so easy to use.
Now I need to buy a new printer, but, MY FUNDS are VERY LIMITED.
What printer would you recommend, that is not expensive, yet still gives perfectly coloured prints and excellent quality letter prints? It should also use ink cartidges that are not over-priced.
If there is one that also prints straight on to CD's and DVD's that would be great, but again, low COST IS VERY IMPORTANT.
Will much look forward to getting some sound advice from you.

reviews fro amozon
Well I recieved this item in the mail today along with my free 10 pack of Photo Paper and it's absolutely excellent. I printed out a photo on best quality and it was brilliant although it took a while. This is by far the best photo printer availible at the moment and the ink is so cheap you can afford to make printing errors. Oh, and make sure you buy a USB cable to go with it.
I recieved my printer today (one day ahead of delivery date!) and to be honest, I cannot fault it at all. The software is good, the print quality is excellent, it is user friendly and unbelievable value for money.
I am also impressed with the CD printing section too!
Amazon are the cheapest for this product if you take advantage of the free delivery option as I did.

my lexmark died to and i got an epson RX520 all in one and its great . i went to pc world asked the price and then asked the sales man to go on the web and get that price i saved 拢65
I've got a Lexmark Z640 absolutely fab and don't cost the earth mind you do shop round for the cartridges I found a small computer hardware shop in my home town where they are only 拢10.00 for black %26amp; white and 拢11.00 for colour. It's so easy to use sadly it doesn't have the CD facility but the printing quality is brilliant!!
The cartridges are usually between 拢15 to 拢25 elsewhere I just got lucky with this particular shop I use it regular now. It's only small but it is a Local shop so I now support it regularly.
The Kodak easy share is a good printer with very inexpensive ink !!

have a look there.. the ink is the most expensive bit of owning a printer, so look into that foremost.
I use a laser printer for text only documents.. and rarely use an inkjet.
personally I avoid lexmark as their cost of their ink is stupidly high even though the printers are normally dirt cheap
