Which is the best printer wth the cheapest ink, currently using lexmark and it cost's a fortune even refills

uk answers pleaseWhich is the best printer wth the cheapest ink, currently using lexmark and it cost's a fortune even refills
I know a good site where you can get really cheap ink for most printers. It's not official ink though, but just works just as well. When you get the ink carts through, they look the same but have Japanese writing on the packet. But if you don't mind that the site is www.ijtdirect.co.uk. PS I don't work for them, my dad recommended the site! Hope this helps.Which is the best printer wth the cheapest ink, currently using lexmark and it cost's a fortune even refills
I check the ink for my HP PCS the refil wass$10 more than HP ink with free shipping. Intgeresting. Report Abuse

Try The Epson CX3700 Aa the cartridges are 4 seperate ones...so if one colour runs out you only need to replace that paticular colour
epson rx420 inks are dead cheap
lexmark
If you buy your ink cartridges on line they are so much cheaper, also even cheaper than that, is to get them refilled...a lot of places do that now!

I would never pay the extortionate prices they charge in the shops for new cartridges.

Hope that helps
Ok, you want Cheeeeep. I have an Epson 320 photo, My ink cartridge costs... Would be 拢6.50 for 'Epson' originals

However...I use a 'Continuous Ink Supply System', my 'cartridge full (13ml) works out at forty pence. Once you have the system (costs about 拢20 for the hardware) you get 600ml of ink at a time, for 拢20.... 600/13 = 46 cartridges for 拢20 ok, so its 44 pence....

Theres the idea. Shop around, use 'Continuous Ink Supply System' as a search term, pair up a printer with a system, and you are away. You can get systems for Epson, Canon, HP, but only specific printers. All this panic about 'voiding warranties etc goes out of the window, when you realise that by the time you have used 600ml you can buy ...how many....new printers????!!!!!
i use a canon i250, can get TESCO printer ink cartridges fro 拢3 Black, 拢5 colour that fit it, very good printer too.

hope this helps

heres a link for the cartridge from tesco for canon i250 拢2.97 per cartridge
We were using lexmark, then found out that it'd be cheaper to buy a new printer then to just get the ink! Now we have Epson Stylus DX4050, the ink is about 拢7 and the whole lot was about 拢50 with two free ink cartridges, whereas the Lexmark was almost 拢30 for one cartridge.
That's why a lot of small businesses are switching over to laser printers and even many home users. They aren't that expensive, the print quality is far better, they print faster and the price per sheet is less than 1/4 the cost of an ink jet printer. Toner cartridges are not cheap but they last for more than a thousand pages so you rarely have to change them.

I own a computer service company.
Go on-line very good deals on Home office supplies try it !
You could try a Canon Pixma iP 3300, it has some good software and the best is it has the separate cartridges Black/Red/Blue/Yellow, like that you only change the colour you need, you do not waste the other colours like in a lot of printers, it also has an Impression Rapid that uses less ink for the things that are not so important. It costs about 拢50 or 拢60 at present I think, but you may find the older version the iP 3000, and that is as good may be a fraction slower. Oh and the cartridges are made by a lot of different firms, so you will find cheaper one on the market.
I have several printers and the cheapest one for ink is an old

Canon i250.

Still works very well too despite old age and tenthousands of

print-outs.
