Where is Canon PIXMA iP1500 Photo Printer's Waste Ink Tank located?

How is it possible to empty the tank or clean it with proper solvent.

Thanks.Where is Canon PIXMA iP1500 Photo Printer's Waste Ink Tank located?
For any print quality problem you need to check waste tank. For any ink jet / bubble jet printer the waste tank is located below print head's home position.

Clean the head with lint free cloth and distilled water. If it does not improve remove the head and immerse it in liquid ammonia solution for 6 hours. Wash it thoroughly with plain water.

Be careful liquid ammonia looks like water but drinking it will damage food pipe and may cause death.Where is Canon PIXMA iP1500 Photo Printer's Waste Ink Tank located?

If missing lines or white stripes are found in the printed nozzle check pattern, perform print head cleaning to unclog the print head nozzles. Cleaning the print head consumes ink, so perform print head cleaning only when necessary.

If you pressed the Cleaning button on the Examining the Nozzle Check Pattern screen displayed after nozzle check pattern printing, start the print head cleaning procedure from 3-(3).

Do not perform any other operations until the print head cleaning finishes. This takes about 40-50 seconds.
